About Us

In 1984, Bro. Bobby Mouser received direction from God to start a new church in Sikeston, Missouri. With the blessings of the Ministry of the Body of Christ, our founding service was held September 1, 1985 in the Lighthouse Church on the corner of Scott & Trotter in the upper room sanctuary. Six months later, we moved to 118 South Ranney Street to a new building we called the White House. In September of 1986, we purchased our current location at 228 Missouri Avenue.

Along with our pastor and founder Bro. Bobby Mouser, we would like to recognize other minsters who helped fulfill his vision of a church is Sikeston. Bro. James Sowders of Louisvillle, KY, Bro. Cornelius Mears and Bro. Steve Farmer of Nashville, TN, Bro. Encil Edmonds of Paducah, KY and Bro. Arnold Thomure of Cape Girardeau, MO.
